Staffing Agency Reporting Requirements in Effect Soon

 AL   SNF  | Beginning January 2025, temporary staffing agencies designated “Nursing Pools” in Washington will be required to complete the annual reporting requirements outlined in RCW 18.52C.060. Urgent Background Checks Update

 AL   ESF   SNF  | In March of 2020, Governor Inslee introduced an emergency proclamation that temporarily suspended the law that requires long-term care workers to complete fingerprint-based background checks. On October 27, 2022, the emergency proclamation was lifted, and BCCU is planning to reintroduce closing (expiring) background check inquiries beginning January 1st, 2024. Read More
