Attention: WHCA Members – Suspension Policy

The WHCA Board of Directors has recently enacted a Membership Suspension Policy that may impact your organization.

If you have an outstanding balance that is 90 days or older, your membership will be subject to suspension, and you will lose access to your membership benefits until the issue is resolved.

Please note: per the WHCA bylaws, a “member” is defined as a company with shared ownership or management. That means that if one building within a member company is out of compliance, the entire member company is subject to suspension. If your member company has a past-due balance and is at risk of suspension, WHCA will notify you in advance. Please do not hesitate to respond if you receive such a notice, so that we can help you to avoid any disruption of benefits for all potentially impacted facilities.

WHCA is a mission-driven, nonprofit, member-funded association. The advocacy, lobbying, regulatory support, and education we provide on behalf of members are funded almost entirely through member dues revenue. We value our members and are committed to serving you. However, we are unable to provide these services when members do not meet their obligations, and suspension of membership would result in loss of:

  • Regulatory support
  • Member education discounts
  • Member-only news and information
  • Eligibility to participate in the WHCA Group Retro claims management program
  • Membership in AHCA/NCAL

We are eager to work together with our members to resolve any outstanding issues and maintain your good standing before suspension becomes necessary. If you falling behind on payments, would like to discuss a payment plan, or are unsure of your account status, you can contact our accounting team at [email protected] or call (360) 352-3814.
