At WHCA, we understand the demands of working in long-term care. With the launch of our new Learning Hub, we are now able to offer high-quality education opportunities for nurses, caregivers, and administrators – on-demand and at your own pace. Check out some of our featured self-paced courses:

Medication Assistance Training – This course introduces caregivers in assisted living settings to the importance of safe and accurate medication management. Approved by DSHS, this 3-hour course was developed from Vicki McNealley’s signature in-person workshop and will help expand your staff’s capacity. Bulk rates available!

Nurse Delegation Training – This free course includes 15 short videos on RN delegation, along with sample task sheets in Word format.  Any or all of these practical videos can be referenced before assuming your duties as an RN delegator, or whenever you need a quick refresher on topics related to RN delegation.

Other Education Opportunities

WHCA hosts two in-person education events each year: Annual Convention, typically in May, and Fall Conference, typically in September. Virtual Winter Symposium is fully online experience that brings expert presenters right to your home or office! Earn CEUs and gain valuable insights at all of these signature education events.
