The Washington Patient Safety Coalition, Health Quality BC and Oregon Patient Safety Commission present the 23rd annual Northwest Patient Safety Conference on October 15-16, 2026. The conference includes 14-hour long sessions, entirely virtual, over two half-days. The live presentations are recorded and available for a year, so attendees can watch sessions they may have missed at their leisure – and receive CE credits!

The theme is “Safety by Choice, Not by Chance – Practical Tools to Elevate Patient Safety”. The conference will feature presentations demonstrating innovative and functional approaches to improve patient and staff safety from institutions and your peers. The conference will kick-off with a fire side chat with the 20th U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams.

In appreciation of healthcare staff and their organizations, we are making NO changes to the registration fee this year, it will remain at $85 per attendee. There are discounts for professional certifications and groups. The conference site is located here with information and registration.
