National Nurses Week and National Skilled Nursing Care Week

May is National Nurses Month! We’re spending the entire month celebrating and lifting up nurses a little extra than usual. National Nurses Week was May 6 – May 12, and National Skilled Nursing Care Week is May 10 – May 16. Nurses are the backbone of healthcare, and WHCA is proud to represent facilities throughout Washington state where nurses are providing quality care to residents every single day. The contributions that nurses make in long-term care facilities are invaluable and immeasurable.
