COVID-19 and Flu Vaccination Update

The WA DOH appreciates all the collective work and effort done to protect LTC residents from vaccine-preventable diseases. However, there is more work to be done. The DOH assessment team has reported that weekly doses administered for influenza and COVID-19 vaccines continue to drop. Up to date coverage for COVID is now at 11.8%, and current flu coverage is 22.0%. For RSV vaccine, coverage for the 60+ population is at 11.6%.

HHS is offering the public FREE COVID-19 tests again. If no kits have been requested since September 2023, every household can get two FREE orders, for a total of #8 test kits (~$100.00 out of pocket value).
