Deadline for MDS Submissions as a Result of iQIES

No MDS submissions will be accepted from July 10, 2025, through July 14, 2025.

Transmit batches by July 9, 2025.

This is due to the nationwide iQIES transition by CMS.

This pertains to all Entry, PPS, OBRA assessments, Discharges and Modifications. Normal transmissions are expected to resume July 15, 2025. All assessments should be prepared and signed as normal. Only the ability to transmit the assessment will be delayed. Assessment Reference Dates (A2300) and Medicare Part A Stay Dates (A2400) should not be adjusted.

The 2nd Quarter 2025 Preliminary Case Mix Index Detail (Q2 ’25 CMID) Reports are coming soon.

Please note the Q2 ’25 Preliminary deadline is July 10, 2025. This deadline will be strictly followed because it falls during the iQIES transition period.

The Q2 ’25 Preliminary CMID Report includes MDS assessments from 04/01/2025 to 06/30/2025 that were transmitted to CMS/iQIES by 07/10/2025.
