HCA/DSHS Clarification of Documentation Requirements for CBHS

HCA communicated updated guidance in coordination with DSHS for ALF and ESF providers who are also providing Community Behavioral Health Support Services (CBHS). 

Attached you will find a cross-agency memo that provides updated guidance on operationalizing Community Behavioral Health Support (CBHS) services, particularly for facilities with enhanced staffing ratio requirements, such as Assisted Living Facilities contracted for Community Stability Supports (CSS) and Enhanced Services Facilities (ESF). This guidance will be available on the CBHS webpage today. In addition, HCA is working to update the billing guide and other documents to support this guidance.
