Home Care Aide Certification Timeline Extended for Certain Individuals
The certification deadline for workers hired between July 1, 2023 through January 31, 2024 has been extended from April 30, 2025 to July 31, 2025. All other certification deadlines remain unchanged. See the letter here.
Updates to Medicaid Residential Support Waiver Program
This letter from May 29 offers clarification and updates to the Residential Support Waiver program, particularly with instructions on ways to avoid possible disruption in services for clients on this program. See the letter here.

DSHS Issues Letter Regarding Case Mix Index Detail (CMID) Report Authorization Form Completion
In a letter dated May 23, The Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) directs each SNF to complete and submit one Case Mix Index Detail (CMID) Report Authorization (DSHS 02-760) form to communicate their dedicated email address to [[email protected]][email protected]. Separate forms are required for each facility’s location of corporate systems.
