DSHS Offering Free Payroll Based Journal (PBJ) and Minimum Staffing Rule Training

WHCA, LeadingAge WA, and Residential Care Services (RCS) are partnering to provide free training for SNF Administrators and staff who are responsible for submission of PBJ and direct care nursing HPRD (hours per resident day) data. The training will focus on state and federal regulatory requirements for complete, accurate, and timely submission of PBJ, as well as the state minimum direct care nursing HPRD thresholds. Attendees will learn how the state and federal PBJ and direct care nursing data audit requirements and how RCS staff will complete these tasks moving forward. More information can be found in the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) Dear Provider Letter.
