DOH Updates How They Notify of Expiring Credentials

Effective May 1 of this year, the Department of Health (DOH) no longer sends printed certificates and paper renewal notices to licensed healthcare professionals including RNs, LPNs, HCAs, NACs, NARs, and others. Notifications are now sent via email, and certificates are available through the HELMS portal once approved.  Facilities and those without email registered with DOH will continue receiving notifications via the postal service.
