AHCA Congressional Briefing: WHCA’s Eric Negomir recently led a delegation of 10 representatives of WA long-term care facilities traveled to the other Washington for the AHCA Congressional Conference where the focus was to advocate for workforce and funding solutions. The group met with all 12 of Washington’s Congressional offices in a jam-packed 24-hour period.

Yakima Herald Op-Ed Opposing Medicaid Cuts: Joany Schimmelfennig, administrator of Good Samaritan was a guest commentator for the Yakima Herald in this op-ed opposing federal Medicaid cuts.
WHCA Facility Tours Project: Eric Negomir kicked off the 2025 interim facility tours program with over 60 participants on a webinar detailing the strategy. To date, Eric is working to secure tours for dozens of WHCA member facilities.
