AL Employers Can Now Pay Online for Employees’ Home Care Aide Applications

The Department of Health (DOH) has created a tutorial that shows an employer how to set up a payment pin in HELMS.  This pin number, when shared with an HCA applicant, will refer the $100 application fee to the employer.  Once an HCA applicant has used the employer’s pin to pay for the HCA application, an email will be sent to the employer notifying the need to pay for this application within 14 days.
