CMS Updates Guidance for Mandatory Off-Cycle SNF Provider Enrollment Revalidations
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has updated its sub-regulatory guidance for the SNF Mandatory Off-Cycle SNF Provider Enrollment Revalidation process. This update includes important changes and updates in the following sections:
- New Section (I)(D) regarding applications pending as of October 1, 2024
- CHOW situations and revalidations (see Section (VI)(F)(2))
- PECOS and public display data (see FAQs 1 and 9)
- Services furnished by third parties (see FAQ 11)
- Reporting all services in restricted spaces (see FAQ 13)
AHCA/NCAL will continue to update and share member resources during this process, including on our website, as well as assist members through our member Provider Enrollment Revalidation Helpdesk. Additionally, AHCA/NCAL will also host four Office Hours webinars on November 15, December 6, January 10, and January 31.
