Informal Dispute Resolution Requests to Move to an Online Format – Coming Soon

WHCA staff met with Residential Care Services (RCS) headquarters staff last week to discuss streamlining the informal dispute resolution (IDR) request process. Currently skilled nursing facilities have access to a DSHS form to request an IDR, while assisted living facilities must send a letter requesting an IDR. Coming soon, all long term care settings will have an online submission portal to request IDR. WHCA has made suggestions to inform the work and look forward to reviewing a final version of the online IDR request form. RCS will need to update DSHS-issued cover letters as well, before a Dear Provider/Administrator letter can be issued.
