Updated COVID-19 Reporting Expectations

On July 18, DSHS issued an updated Dear Provider Letter outlining new expectations in reporting COVID-19 outbreaks to the Complaint Resolution Unit (CRU). Now, for skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, reporting COVID-19 outbreaks to the CRU is encouraged but not required. Likewise, reporting individual cases to the CRU is also voluntary.
