Updated Tools for NHSN RSV and Influenza Reporting Requirements

The National Healthcare Safety Network (NSHN) now requires nursing facilities to report information for resident RSV and influenza confirmed cases and vaccines. This was optional prior to January 2025.

In addition, the up-to-date definition for health care personnel (HCP) ages 65 and up has been modified to require two doses of the COVID vaccine, or have had their first dose in the past six months.
