Memory Care Rulemaking Commences

WHCA is working to shape the regulations with a key group of members including Dawn Pratt, Caring Places Management, Angie Frantz, Prestige Care, Ana de la Cerda, Aegis Living, Glenna Wickett, Brookdale, and RyLee Mason, Cornerstone. The new requirements are slated to go into effect in July 2026. Any assisted living facility providing dementia or memory care services is required to become certified.
