Check Your Bookmarks! WHCA’s Website Navigation Has Changed
As part of our ongoing efforts to improve our member services, WHCA has been updating the tools and resources our members access online. Last year we launched the Member Portal and Learning Hub, and now we have completed the next stage of these updates with a fresh new navigation menu on our website.
Our goal with this update is to make it easier for members to find resources, support, and information they need. This means some of the pathways you are used to may have changed, and some of your bookmarks may no longer be relevant. Please take a moment to check out the new navigation bar and update your bookmarks accordingly. Here’s a quick summary of what you’ll find under each new heading on the navigation menu:
Membership – Information related to your WHCA membership, including a benefits overview, dues breakdown, membership applications and Change of Ownership forms, and a quick link to the Member Portal.
Education – Links to register for featured and upcoming education events, information on our education partners, forms to submit a presentation proposal, and a quick link to the Learning Hub (where you can access your CEUs, online courses, and registrations).
Events Calendar – List of upcoming WHCA events.
Regulatory Support – Resources, guidelines, and contact information for assisted living and skilled nursing provider members related to all things regulatory, survey, and inspections, as well as access to current and past issues of Survey & Regulatory Update.
Advocacy – Information about the current legislative session, opportunities to engage through grassroots advocacy, and resources to help you become a stronger advocate for Washington’s long-term care community.
Resources – Additional tools, guides, documents, and support for managing your long-term care facility, including information about WHCA’s national affiliate programs and partners, CMP grants support, and our popular facility finder.
About – Information about WHCA itself, including our board and staff listings, projects we sponsor such as the WA Foundation for Long-Term Care and the LPN Apprenticeship Program, and ways you can engage with the association through joining a committee.
