Grassroots Update: WHCA Advocates Shine in Budget Hearings

Over the past two days, 20 providers from skilled nursing and assisted living facilities across Washington stepped up to testify on Governor Inslee’s state budget proposal. SNF providers told key budget-writing legislators how significant Medicaid rate cuts would devastate their ability to provide care, and AL providers helped lawmakers understand the importance of continued improvements in AL Medicaid rates.
