Illuminate the Journey: LTC Providers Connect in Spokane
Last week, Washington Health Care Association was proud to welcome nearly 400 providers and associate business partners from Washington and Idaho to Spokane for the 2025 WHCA+IHCA Fall Conference. Since 2017, WHCA has partnered with the Idaho Health Care Association (IHCA) for our Fall Conference, since many of our members operate or serve facilities in both states.
The Conference offered 33 education sessions to choose from, including an inspiring and entertaining keynote address from Cody Byrns, “How Caregivers Changed My Life for the Better”. In celebration of WHCA’s 40th anniversary year, our Associate Business members decked out their trade show booths in a totally rad 1980’s theme – and we kept the 80’s throwback going at our murder mystery dinner fun night later that evening. The AB Appreciation Welcome Reception and the WHCA-PAC Fall Golf Invitational offered even more opportunities for attendees to connect, relax, and share with other members of our long-term care community.
WHCA’s education theme for this special 40th anniversary year has been Illuminate the Journey. From Annual Convention and Fall Conference, to our webinars and virtual workshops, we hope you have found our educational offerings this year to be enlightening and engaging.
