Adult Protective Services Functions and Grants Programs was published on Wednesday, May 8, 2024. It is effective June 7, 2024, and creates the first mandatory federal standards to govern Adult Protective Services policies, procedures, and practices. Each state must comply with this final rule by May 8, 2028, to receive Federal Funding.
