Competition is fierce for state funding support as various sectors navigate a high-stakes state operating budget. This was evident yesterday by the 325 testifiers who signed up to weigh in on the House budget proposal, in a public hearing stretching well past 9pm. We’re proud to report that WHCA advocates came out in force for this critical opportunity, with nearly 30 long-term care professionals testifying in strong opposition to funding freezes proposed by the House.
