Beware Of Falsified Training Certificates

The Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) and the Department of Health (DOH) have been involved in ongoing investigations regarding falsification of caregiver training certificates. These include but are not limited to specialty certificates (dementia, mental health, and developmental disabilities trainings), nurse delegation (both the 9-hour Core Delegation and the 3-hour Focus on Diabetes Delegation courses), and continuing education courses.

If you come across any certificates that appear to have been altered or otherwise do not look legitimate, please email copies to Vicki McNealley for follow-up with the DSHS training unit.
