Grassroots Update: Bridging Gaps, Building Connections
A large part of WHCA’s advocacy work is dedicated to educating lawmakers onsite at member communities across our state. At both skilled nursing and assisted living facilities, elected officials have a chance to see quality care in action. They learn, through storytelling, the challenges facing their local long-term care providers, those served, and the staff who make it all possible.
WHCA would like to thank the following communities for hosting a tour last week:
Canterbury House, Evergreen Healthcare
Parkside Retirement Community, Noble Healthcare
Vineyard Park Bothell Landing, Cottesmore of Life Care, and Fieldstone Cooper Point, Cascadia Senior Living.
These tours provided chances for establishing lasting connections which are critical for future advocacy during legislative session and beyond. Join the campaign today by reaching out to Aidan Swayne for more information.
