Grassroots Update: Off to a Strong Start

Success this legislative session will hinge on the engagement of our member advocates – so we are taking a moment to recognize trends and leaders in our initial effort to secure Medicaid funds in the state’s 2025-2027 Operating Budget.

Driven largely by Caldera advocates, SNF providers have a slight lead over AL in total message volume. No clear drivers have emerged yet in AL engagement. Although overall message numbers reflect a typically gradual ramp-up into legislative session, the diversity in advocates holds promise for the future. We are counting on these early advocate leaders to enlist their teams and amplify our members’ influence in the Capitol.

We are continuing our work to influence the Governor’s budget proposal – so as you decorate your building and prepare your Thanksgiving feast this week, carve out one minute to help a colleague message Governor Inslee.
