Grassroots Update: Dismantling Delays in Home Care Aide Testing

Throughout this summer, WHCA’s Vicki McNealley and Brookdale’s Allison Lally have worked diligently with DOH to remedy disastrous home care aide testing backlogs. Beyond designing preceptor curriculum, their work to advance a pilot program merging testing and training locations provides hope for nearly 25,000 home care aids awaiting test scheduling.
