State Affiliate Network: Survey Trends Report Updated with Current Survey Data

In July 2025, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) transitioned nursing home survey and certification data to the cloud-based Internet Quality Improvement and Evaluation System (iQIES). To ensure the accuracy of publicly reported information during this transition, the purchase of CASPER data, the previous source for this report, was placed on hold.

To continue providing timely survey information, the Survey Trends Report to use data from Nursing Home Care Compare has been updated. The reports are available on the State Dashboards, linked here: www.ahcancal.org/SARC/state-dashboards/Pages/….

The Survey Trends Report on the State Affiliate Resource Center has now been updated to reflect the most recent survey data through April 23, 2026. Beginning with July 2025 data, the report uses Nursing Home Care Compare data, and CMS will continue to use this source for future monthly updates. Please note that the CMP report has not been updated yet.
