Grassroots Update: Tick Tock, Goes the Budget Clock

Hurry up and wait. If there was a mantra for legislative session, that would be it. We’re waiting for the release of the House and Senate budget proposals, which, along with January’s Governor’s budget proposal, will be consolidated into one final ‘conference’ budget in the coming weeks.

The ‘hurry up’ part comes once these proposals are released, since we’ll know then what to advocate for in the conference budget. Stay tuned for this Friday’s Capitol Update, where we expect to report on the House and Senate proposals and provide powerful options for engagement.
