Grassroots Update: Pre-Session Facility Tours
Have you seen colleagues participate in legislative facility tours? Have you seen tours on WHCA’s social media pages? Interested in being a part of a brighter future for long-term care in Olympia? Reach out to Aidan Swayne today for more information.
Legislative facility tours are a pillar of WHCA’s advocacy strategies. They provide meaningful, direct engagement between our providers in the field and their elected officials. Having the opportunity to understand both sides of long-term care is a priceless experience for legislators and other dignitaries. It cuts directly to the core of our members’ issues and builds a human connection built on storytelling and quality service.
If you are interested in having your building(s) toured by a local official, from any level of government, reach out directly to the WHCA team. They are able to assist in scheduling and executing a successful tour that allows you, your staff, and those you care for to tell a story that sticks about the challenges you face and the value you create in people’s lives as they receive long-term care.
