Grassroots Update: 4 Moves That Matter – Strategy Preview
This week, we’re presenting a sneak peek of a new advocacy initiative you can plug into and sustain. We’re rolling out the 4 Moves That Matter strategy, an intentional approach to making meaningful engagement with your district legislators stick.
At the center of this is a simple framework: a focused set of four touchpoints aligned with the legislative cycle that keep your voice in the room even when you’re not. It includes facility tours and pre-session engagement, legislator meetings and town halls, committee testimony and direct outreach (calls/emails), and much more, all to ensure your perspective is part of the decision-making process when it counts most.
Our seasonal engagement opportunities offer additional chances to stay connected during election cycles and further relationships through WHCA’s PAC work. The next eight months are full of meaningful opportunities to engage with your district legislators. If you’re ready to be part of a core group helping lead this effort, reach out to Aidan Swayne to get connected ahead of the full rollout.
At WHCA’s Annual Convention, be sure to stop by the advocacy table to learn more, sign up, and get plugged in. Building a strong bench of engaged providers is how we strengthen our voice in Olympia and make advocacy more accessible across the board.
