Grassroots Update: Capturing Yesterday, Framing Tomorrow

Our third annual WHCA-PAC Bowl-a-Rama was a smashing success. We raised roughly $56,500 in support of our PAC work. It was truly an evening to remember. Thank you to all our sponsors; your support is an integral part of protecting skilled nursing and assisted living in Washington.

Why does this work matter?

Because the decisions made in Olympia directly impact:

protecting access to long-term care,
workforce sustainability,
Medicaid stability, and
building relationships with policymakers who shape our operating environment.

The WHCA team is working closely with our political consultant to identify key political races heading into summer. This work will climax in November with general elections for important seats across the state House and Senate.

In this, the WHCA PAC is committed to supporting old and new friends of long-term care alike in the Legislature. We are actively seeking facilities in key legislative districts to host political action tours and gatherings. For many, this closes the loop on PAC support and engages them directly with legislators who will protect our sector during the session.
