LPN Apprenticeship Program

The Washington Health Care Association is pleased to announce the launch of the Fall 2024 Licensed Practical Nursing Apprenticeship Program.

This novel program is designed to create access, attract, and retain talent in Long Term Care professions within the state of Washington while expanding the number of Licensed Practical Nurses in Long Term Care facilities. The apprenticeship program will return nursing education to its grassroots, connecting a learner directly with the facilities they serve to apply pedagogy and skills within a community workplace setting, while blending modern nursing education through a college lecture and lab learning environment.
