Scholarship Applications are now closed.
The Washington Foundation for Long Term Care (WFLTC) will reopen scholarship applications in Spring 2025. Scholarships are available to employees of WHCA member facilities seeking higher education through a degree program at university, college, technical school, or higher education institution.
What Areas of Study Are Eligible?
These monetary awards are intended to enhance the quality of care and services at WHCA member assisted living communities, enhanced services facilities, and skilled nursing centers by supporting and assisting their staff in pursuing or furthering a formal education. Scholarships are open to long-term care staff in all departments. The area of study must be related to any career path in long-term care. The amount awarded is dependent upon the number of applications received, financial need, and the resources of WFLTC.
Application Requirements
Scholarship applications must include a completed online application form along with two letters of recommendation to be considered complete. Incomplete scholarship packets will not be submitted to the Review Committee for consideration.
