DSHS On-the-Job Training Webinar9/14/20222:30pm3:30pm
If you currently offer, or are interested in providing, the full 75-hour Home Care Aide Certification training for your facility caregiving staff, DSHS, Aging and Long Term Support Administration (ALTSA) is excited to announce an informational webinar on Wednesday, September 14, from 2:30 – 3:30 PM and Friday, September 16, from 9:30 – 10:30 AM.
The webinar agenda includes a brief presentation on what On-The-Job Training (OJT) is and the requirements to initiate a 75-hour Home Care Aide Certification training program at your facility. OJT allows an approved instructor in an adult family home, assisted living facility, or enhanced services facility to monitor an employee’s performance in completing necessary skills training while working with residents on the job.
