Skilled nursing facilities play a crucial role in resident safety and prevention of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of vulnerable adults. Identifying, reporting, investigating, and ensuring preventative measures are in place as a result of allegations or incidents are vital to improving the quality of life and ensuring resident safety.

The purpose of this webinar is to provide a general overview of RCS’ new pilot related to their investigation of facility reported incidents in skilled nursing facilities. This webinar will provide an overview of the department’s processes related to offsite and onsite investigations of facility reported incidents. The webinar will also address the importance of the facility requirements to report outcomes of investigations within 5 days to the department.
