A career in long-term care is a rewarding and challenging pursuit, and the Washington Foundation for Long-Term Care is proud to support individuals in their education and professional development goals. Scholarships are available to employees of WHCA member facilities seeking higher education through a degree program at university, college, technical school, or higher education institution. Long-term care staff in all departments are eligible to apply for a scholarship, as the area of study can be related to any career path in long-term care, including:
- Nursing & Caregiving
- Specialized Care & Therapies
- Administration & Management
- Resident & Social Services
- and more
Now accepting applications for the 2026 Scholarship cycle.
To be considered for a scholarship of up to $1,000, please fill out the form below by the application deadline of Friday, March 20, 2026. Recipients will be selected and notified by the end of April, and announced at the WHCA Annual Convention in Seattle on May 19, 2026.
