Grassroots Update: Foundations of Good Intent

Democrats and Republicans might not agree on much these days, but just about everyone acknowledges that seniors need more support. Our leaders want to help – our work as advocates is to demonstrate how they can and should. The best education comes through firsthand experience, so this summer, we’ll be enlisting your support in welcoming legislators and staff into your facility for a tour.

Your engagement matters: a tour can make the difference between a well-intentioned lawmaker supporting poorly-crafted measures like applying SNF discharge rights to AL, or advocating for informed solutions like improving Medicaid funding and streamlining NA-C testing.
