Course Overview:

Join Cassie Prather, Epidemiologist, Department of Health (DOH), as she explains what to do when your facility is in outbreak and what steps you should take to be best prepared. Cassie will also provide resources and educate attendees on where to locate and interpret information regarding disease on the DOH website.

Speaker:

Cassie Prather is an MPH graduate from Eastern Washington University who has had the privilege of working as an intern during graduate school and then transitioning to a full time Epidemiologist at the Spokane Regional Health District (SRHD) post-graduation. In January of 2022, Cassie took a job as an Epidemiologist with the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) on the Healthcare Associated Infections & Antimicrobial Resistance team assisting the Infection Prevention and Education and Guidance team.
