Join us for the 2025 DSHS Survey Agency: Spring Forum for ALs!

This virtual forum, hosted by the Aging and Long-Term Care Support Administration’s Division of Residential Care Services (ALTSA/RCS), offers a unique opportunity to engage with Field Managers and Regional Administrators on topics critical to provider interests. This quarter Residential Care Services will be discussion state fire marshal inspections.

Learning Objectives

After participating in the Spring 2025 forum, attendees should be able to:

• RCS staff updates, changes
• Success stories from the field
• State fire marshal inspections, including:
  • What to expect from a fire marshal inspection
  • How to prepare and monitor your fire safety by week, month, quarter, and year
  • Common fire marshal citations, findings
  • Communication with the fire marshal before, during, and after an inspection
• Citation trends over the past quarter
• Review of Dear Provider letters over the past quarter

Additional outcomes, providers will gain insight into key regulatory updates, discuss important policy changes, and explore quality improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing care in long-term care settings. This collaborative event emphasizes the importance of strengthening communication and fostering partnerships that support quality care for our most vulnerable clients and residents.
