2023 WHCA Convention

The 2023 WHCA Annual Convention is back to in-person! Please plan to join your colleagues in long term care for a bold, new program designed specifically so you can LEARN, CONNECT, and EXCEL. This year’s education session offerings have been crowdsourced by you, our members. We listened to your feedback and have created a fresh, new program with topics that perfectly address your professional development needs! You are sure to benefit from top-notch education, networking opportunities, social events, fundraising for the WHCA-PAC, and a luncheon with your peers to recognize our long term care stars and scholarship award winners.

The WHCA Annual Convention would not be complete without some fun in the mix! On Monday, the WHCA-PAC Spring Golf Invitational sponsored by ERNwest starts a 12:00 noon. Education kicks off at 1 pm, and a delightful Welcome Reception begins at 5:30 pm. Monday evening is open for a Dine Around so you can meet up with friends, customers, and business partners for dinner. Tacoma has some great restaurants and bars for you to explore!

On Tuesday, May 23, plan to mix and mingle at the Exhibit Showcase from 4:30-6 pm and the WHCA-PAC Awards Night fundraiser with a live auction at 6:30 pm. Tickets are included with each provider registration. Associate Business partners must purchase tickets separately.

On Wednesday, May 24, the exceptional education lineup continues and Convention will have a spectacular conclusion with an Awards & Scholarship Recognition Luncheon at noon that you won’t want to miss, followed by a general session where you can meet the new DSHS team members; Bea Rector, Catherine Kinnaman and Amy Abbott!
