Boarding Home/Assisted Living Facility Member Survey

We need your help informing the work of the Governor’s Task Force on Long Term Care. Specifically, the task force is seeking feedback about regulations and laws that:

• Prevent an individual from aging in place due to care needs/preferences changing; and/or

• Increase costs with no improvement in resident care and safety.

This area of inquiry is being pursued because of the on-going assertion by long term care providers that there are regulations and laws that drive cost without direct benefit to residents. Additionally, the task force is interested in responding to family member concerns about current barriers to aging in place. To that end, we are seeking your response to the survey included with this memo.
